Japan Nikkei gains 1.16% on U.S. shares rise
Capital MarketJapan share market finished session higher on higher on Friday, 11 May 2018, as risk sentiments continued boosting by gains on Wall Street overnight, a steady yen against greenback. However, market gains were limited amid concern about geopolitical risk over US plans to open an embassy in Jerusalem next week. Among TSE33 issues, gains were broad based, with precision instrument, electric appliances and machinery-oriented issues gained the most. The benchmark Nikkei 225 index rose 1.16% or 261.30 points to 22,758.48, while the broader Topix index was up 0.98% or 17.34 points at 1,794.96.
