Sales rise 23.73% to Rs 2301.39 crore

Net profit of Jindal Stainless reported to Rs 161.12 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against net loss of Rs 171.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 23.73% to Rs 2301.39 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1860.03 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 58.34 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against net loss of Rs 559.12 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 27.32% to Rs 8311.28 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 6527.99 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
