Jindal Steel & Power Ltd rose 4.03% today to trade at Rs 160.05. The S&P BSE Metal index is up 2.52% to quote at 8448.44. The index is down 7.79 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Steel Authority of India Ltd increased 3.8% and Vedanta Ltd added 3.51% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 22.74 % over last one year compared to the 7.93% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
