Jindal Steel & Power reports standalone net loss of Rs 116.09 crore in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 15.24% to Rs 3947.01 crore

Net Loss of Jindal Steel & Power reported to Rs 116.09 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against net loss of Rs 217.66 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 15.24% to Rs 3947.01 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 3424.99 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 986.45 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against net loss of Rs 1418.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 7.62% to Rs 13418.88 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 12468.87 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
