Jindal Steel & Power reports standalone net loss of Rs 234.63 crore in the March 2015 quarter

Sales decline 4.61% to Rs 3300.60 crore

Net loss of Jindal Steel & Power reported to Rs 234.63 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against net profit of Rs 430.83 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales declined 4.61% to Rs 3300.60 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 3460.10 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 310.68 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against net profit of Rs 1291.95 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales declined 3.32% to Rs 13282.29 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 13738.94 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
