JSW Energy consolidated net profit declines 6.09% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 22.65% to Rs 2638.33 crore

Net profit of JSW Energy declined 6.09% to Rs 305.43 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 325.22 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 22.65% to Rs 2638.33 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 2151.11 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 3.41% to Rs 1395.51 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1349.51 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 6.22% to Rs 9810.36 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 9235.94 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
