JSW Energy net profit declines 32.64% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 0.90% to Rs 1486.88 crore

Net profit of JSW Energy declined 32.64% to Rs 225.65 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 334.97 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 0.90% to Rs 1486.88 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 1500.35 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 39.33% to Rs 602.48 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 993.03 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 9.18% to Rs 5663.06 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 6235.74 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
