JSW Steel consolidated net profit declines 87.08% in the March 2015 quarter

Sales decline 12.24% to Rs 12364.36 crore

Net profit of JSW Steel declined 87.08% to Rs 62.38 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 482.83 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales declined 12.24% to Rs 12364.36 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 14088.11 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net profit rose 297.52% to Rs 1796.57 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 451.95 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales rose 3.26% to Rs 52050.57 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 50408.87 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
