JSW Steel Ltd fell 3.79% today to trade at Rs 340.05. The S&P BSE Metal index is down 1.81% to quote at 12392.16. The index is down 11.87 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Hindalco Industries Ltd decreased 3.28% and Vedanta Ltd lost 1.71% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 17.6 % over last one year compared to the 0.76% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
JSW Steel Ltd has lost 16.62% over last one month compared to 11.87% fall in S&P BSE Metal index and 8.6% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 86361 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 3.25 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 427.3 on 21 Sep 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 237.9 on 14 Dec 2017.
