JSW Steel Ltd gained 1.08% today to trade at Rs 263.15. The S&P BSE Metal index is up 0.57% to quote at 10796.39. The index is up 1.5 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd increased 1.07% and Vedanta Ltd added 0.98% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 17.54 % over last one year compared to the 9.69% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
