Kajaria Ceramics rose 7.74% to Rs 701 at 13:45 IST on BSE after two bulk deals were executed on the scrip on BSE today, 24 August 2017.
A bulk deal of 9.07 lakh shares was executed on the Kajaria Ceramics scrip at Rs 671.25 per share at 09:56 IST on BSE. Another bulk deal of 8.51 lakh shares was executed on the scrip at Rs 672.80 per share at 10:02 IST on BSE.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 33.18 points, or 0.11%, to 31,601.19
Bulk deal boosted volume on the scrip. On BSE, so far 19.48 lakh shares were traded in the counter, compared with average daily volume of 18,692 shares in the past one quarter. The stock hit a high of Rs 710 and a low of Rs 662 so far during the day. The stock hit a record high of Rs 787.55 on 10 May 2017. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 437.30 on 30 December 2016.
The large-cap company has equity capital of Rs 15.89 crore. Face value per share is Re 1.
On a consolidated basis, net profit of Kajaria Ceramics fell 19.6% to Rs 50.98 crore on 6.03% rise in net sales to Rs 627.58 crore in Q1 June 2017 over Q1 June 2016.
