Kaveri Seed Company net profit declines 77.99% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 47.95% to Rs 38.51 crore

Net profit of Kaveri Seed Company declined 77.99% to Rs 2.45 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 11.13 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 47.95% to Rs 38.51 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 73.99 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 62.13% to Rs 210.56 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 129.87 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 41.02% to Rs 1002.41 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 710.84 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
