Sales rise 9.88% to Rs 43.82 crore

Net loss of Kaveri Seed Company reported to Rs 7.46 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against net profit of Rs 1.25 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 9.88% to Rs 43.82 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 39.88 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 42.62% to Rs 172.68 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 300.96 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 23.10% to Rs 892.78 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1160.94 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
