KEC International recovers after 7-day 14.8% slide

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 109.33 points or 0.6% at 18,351.89.

On BSE, 11,000 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 81,829 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 51.40 and a low of Rs 50.05 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 80.70 on 29 October 2012. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 47.30 on 1 March 2013.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 12 April 2013, sliding 6.35% compared with the Sensex's 6.76% fall. The scrip had, however, underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 24.36% as against Sensex's 7.23% fall.

The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 51.42 crore. Face value per share is Rs 2.

Shares of KEC International had declined 14.85% in seven trading sessions to settle at Rs 50.15 on Friday, 12 April 2013, from a recent high of Rs 58.90 on 3 April 2013.
