KEC International on Wednesday (18 March 2020) said it secured new orders of Rs 1,047 crore across its various businesses.
The company said its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business and SAE Towers have won orders worth Rs 669 crore for T&D projects in India, SAARC, Middle East and the Americas. The civil business segment has secured orders worth Rs 153 crore for defence (setting up a data centre) and residential projects in India. The solar business has bagged orders of Rs 104 crore for solar projects in India and Middle East. The cable business has secured orders of Rs 121 crore for various types of cables/cabling projects. The announcement was made during trading hours today, 18 March 2020.On a consolidated basis, KEC International reported a net profit of Rs 144.92 crore in in Q3 December 2019, up by 29% from Rs 112.37 crore reported in Q3 December 2018. Net sales increased by 16.1% to Rs 3,073.11 crore in Q3 December 2019 as compared to Rs 2,646.63 crore in Q3 December 2018.
KEC International is a global infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) major. It has presence in the verticals of power transmission and distribution, railways, civil, solar, smart infrastructure and cables. The company is currently executing infrastructure projects in over 30 countries.
Shares of KEC International fell 0.12% to Rs 260. The stock traded in the range of Rs 257 to Rs 265.50 so far.
