Kolte-Patil Developers drops on profit booking

Kolte-Patil Developers lost 0.48% to Rs 205.90 at 12:51 IST on BSE, with the stock sliding on profit taking amid intraday volatility after recent rally.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 40.60 points or 0.13% at 31,631.11. The S&P BSE Small-Cap index rose 111.65 points or 0.68% at 16,431.88.

On the BSE, 74,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 46,505 shares in the past one quarter. The stock was volatile. The stock lost as much as 3.76% at the day's low of Rs 199.10 so far during the day. The stock rose as much as 1.3% at the day's high of Rs 209.60 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 215.75 on 12 September 2017 and a 52-week low of Rs 78.75 on 27 December 2016.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 4 October 2017, advancing 27.05% compared with the Sensex's 0.1% fall. The stock had also outperformed the market over the past one quarter, gaining 21.67% as against the Sensex's 1.48% rise. The scrip had also outperformed the market over the past one year, gaining 64.21% as against the Sensex's 11.78% rise.

The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 75.77 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

Shares of Kolte-Patil Developers had declined 16.59% in the preceding four trading sessions to settle at Rs 206.90 yesterday, 4 October 2017, from its close of Rs 177.45 on 27 September 2017.

On a consolidated basis, Kolte-Patil Developers' net profit rose 33.8% to Rs 25.38 crore on 37.1% rise in net sales to Rs 246.56 crore in Q1 June 2017 over Q1 June 2016.
