Lakshmi Machine Works net profit rises 307.73% in the March 2013 quarter

Sales decline 0.49% to Rs 486.66 crore

Net profit of Lakshmi Machine Works rose 307.73% to Rs 28.50 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 6.99 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales declined 0.49% to Rs 486.66 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 489.05 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.

For the Audited full year,net profit declined 14.26% to Rs 117.48 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 137.02 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales declined 10.04% to Rs 1864.33 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 2072.49 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
