Larsen & Toubro standalone net profit rises 23.22% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 11.78% to Rs 20840.74 crore

Net profit of Larsen & Toubro rose 23.22% to Rs 2539.14 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 2060.65 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 11.78% to Rs 20840.74 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 18644.99 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 5.05% to Rs 5311.46 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 5056.18 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 4.68% to Rs 58881.74 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 56250.47 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
