Lypsa Gems & Jewellery consolidated net profit rises 593.07% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 55.68% to Rs 80.05 crore

Net profit of Lypsa Gems & Jewellery rose 593.07% to Rs 7.00 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1.01 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 55.68% to Rs 80.05 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 51.42 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 15.09% to Rs 21.51 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 18.69 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 45.34% to Rs 260.74 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 477.02 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
