Magadh Sugar & Energy standalone net profit declines 36.48% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales decline 12.93% to Rs 181.01 crore

Net profit of Magadh Sugar & Energy declined 36.48% to Rs 16.40 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 25.82 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales declined 12.93% to Rs 181.01 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 207.89 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 56.93% to Rs 24.91 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 57.84 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 5.36% to Rs 717.28 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 680.81 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
