Magna Eletrocasting standalone net profit rises 15.74% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 9.21% to Rs 21.10 crore

Net profit of Magna Eletrocasting rose 15.74% to Rs 1.25 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1.08 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 9.21% to Rs 21.10 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 19.32 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 12.18% to Rs 7.46 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 6.65 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 15.17% to Rs 78.17 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 92.15 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
