Mahaan Foods net profit declines 77.34% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 97.81% to Rs 1.11 crore

Net profit of Mahaan Foods declined 77.34% to Rs 1.48 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 6.53 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 97.81% to Rs 1.11 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 50.77 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 63.89% to Rs 0.59 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 0.36 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 93.21% to Rs 10.93 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 161.04 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
