Mahanagar Gas standalone net profit rises 27.72% in the March 2021 quarter

Sales rise 4.53% to Rs 717.66 crore

Net profit of Mahanagar Gas rose 27.72% to Rs 212.77 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 166.59 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020. Sales rose 4.53% to Rs 717.66 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 686.55 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

For the full year,net profit declined 21.92% to Rs 619.57 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 793.50 crore during the previous year ended March 2020. Sales declined 27.58% to Rs 2152.53 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 2972.13 crore during the previous year ended March 2020.
