Mangalam Cement standalone net profit declines 75.14% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 20.95% to Rs 254.28 crore

Net profit of Mangalam Cement declined 75.14% to Rs 3.48 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 14.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 20.95% to Rs 254.28 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 210.23 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 36.63 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against net loss of Rs 21.46 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 8.14% to Rs 900.88 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 833.05 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
