Mangalore Refinery And Petrochemicals standalone net profit rises 15.70% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 16.30% to Rs 9284.80 crore

Net profit of Mangalore Refinery And Petrochemicals rose 15.70% to Rs 1353.35 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1169.70 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 16.30% to Rs 9284.80 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 11092.79 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 1148.16 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 1712.23 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 31.02% to Rs 39632.04 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 57457.37 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
