Maris Spinners reports standalone net profit of Rs 0.65 crore in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 50.87% to Rs 34.79 crore

Net profit of Maris Spinners reported to Rs 0.65 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against net loss of Rs 0.13 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 50.87% to Rs 34.79 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 23.06 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 16.93% to Rs 2.65 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 3.19 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 12.26% to Rs 117.73 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 104.87 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
