Max India leads gainers in 'A' group

Coromandel International, Hindustan Unilever, MphasiS and Piramal Enterprises are among the other gainers.

Diversified firm Max India jumped 8.94% to Rs 264.55. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group.

Fertiliser maker Coromandel International galloped 8.73% to Rs 256.60. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group.

FMCG major Hindustan Unilever spurted 7.87% to Rs 600.95. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.

IT company MphasiS climbed 7.62% to Rs 436.50. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Diversified firm Piramal Enterprises rose 6.29% to Rs 671.20. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock hit a record high of Rs 690 in intraday today.
