Mindtree gained 4.05% to Rs 1,473 at 10:50 IST on BSE after MoInlycke Health Care selected the company to enhance its business efficiency using the SAP application suite.
The company made announcement after market hours yesterday, 21 September 2015.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 40.34 points, or 0.15% to 26,233.32.
On BSE, so far 10,379 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 17,046 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 1,488 and a low of Rs 1,424 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 1,589.10 on 9 April 2015. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 967 on 17 October 2014.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 21 September 2015, gaining 0.04% compared with Sensex's 4.29% fall. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, rising 7.47% as against Sensex's 4.11% fall.
