MMTC standalone net profit declines 39.18% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 60.79% to Rs 1963.92 crore

Net profit of MMTC declined 39.18% to Rs 23.10 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 37.98 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 60.79% to Rs 1963.92 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 5008.11 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 14.51% to Rs 54.86 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 47.91 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 31.69% to Rs 12460.47 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 18241.50 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
