MOIL standalone net profit declines 79.14% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 29.90% to Rs 209.62 crore

Net profit of MOIL declined 79.14% to Rs 21.38 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 102.47 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 29.90% to Rs 209.62 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 161.37 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 59.59% to Rs 172.98 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 428.01 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 23.63% to Rs 628.74 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 823.25 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
