Monnet Ispat & Energy net profit declines 36.17% in the March 2013 quarter

Sales decline 19.41% to Rs 432.23 crore

Net profit of Monnet Ispat & Energy declined 36.17% to Rs 53.04 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 83.09 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales declined 19.41% to Rs 432.23 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 536.35 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.

For the Audited full year,net profit declined 13.34% to Rs 250.32 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 288.86 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales rose 3.16% to Rs 1957.43 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 1897.38 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
