Monsanto India standalone net profit rises 66.43% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 9.44% to Rs 156.85 crore

Net profit of Monsanto India rose 66.43% to Rs 53.14 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 31.93 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 9.44% to Rs 156.85 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 143.32 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 8.66% to Rs 164.56 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 151.44 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 4.08% to Rs 672.12 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 645.80 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
