Motherson Sumi Systems net profit rises 18.59% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 1.25% to Rs 1223.26 crore

Net profit of Motherson Sumi Systems rose 18.59% to Rs 212.49 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 179.18 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 1.25% to Rs 1223.26 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 1208.21 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 13.95% to Rs 535.13 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 469.62 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 5.48% to Rs 4473.77 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 4241.34 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
