Motherson Sumi Systems standalone net profit rises 61.11% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 13.53% to Rs 1421.82 crore

Net profit of Motherson Sumi Systems rose 61.11% to Rs 235.45 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 146.14 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 13.53% to Rs 1421.82 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1252.41 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 38.26% to Rs 711.85 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 514.88 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 6.38% to Rs 5233.48 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 4919.83 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
