Multi Commodity Exchange of India standalone net profit declines 45.03% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 3.54% to Rs 55.60 crore

Net profit of Multi Commodity Exchange of India declined 45.03% to Rs 27.10 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 49.30 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 3.54% to Rs 55.60 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 53.70 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 66.55% to Rs 41.83 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 125.05 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 4.65% to Rs 213.53 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 204.04 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
