National Steel & Agro Industries net profit rises 22.14% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 18.59% to Rs 1001.77 crore

Net profit of National Steel & Agro Industries rose 22.14% to Rs 8.22 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 6.73 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 18.59% to Rs 1001.77 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 1230.47 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 5.43% to Rs 30.46 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 28.89 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 0.45% to Rs 3496.88 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 3481.31 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
