Navneet Education fell 1.94% to Rs 83.20 at 13:18 IST on BSE after net profit declined 42.8% to Rs 6.77 crore on 12.6% fall in total income to Rs 118.09 crore in Q3 December 2015 over Q3 December 2014.
The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 4 February 2016.Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 147.35 points, or 0.61%, to 24,485.78
On BSE, so far 16,699 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 17,028 shares in the past one quarter. The stock hit a high of Rs 84.50 and low of Rs 81.75 so far during the day. The stock hit a record high of Rs 119.70 on 20 February 2015. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 79.20 on 14 December 2015. The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 4 February 2016, falling 9.93% compared with 5.01% decline in the Sensex. The scrip, however, outperformed the market in past one quarter, falling 4.82% as against Sensex's 8.34% fall.
The small-cap company has an equity capital of Rs 47.64 crore. Face value per share is Rs 2.
