National Buildings Construction Corporation rose 1.08% to Rs 1,026.95 at 9:49 IST on BSE after the company won a project of civil works for estimated amount of Rs 126.33 crore.
The announcement was made after market hours on Friday, 16 October 2015.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 86.51 points, or 0.32%, to 27,301.11
On BSE, so far 11,491 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 1.07 lakh shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 1,031.95 and a low of Rs 1,022.15 so far during the day. The stock hit a record high of Rs 1,214.50 on 6 August 2015. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 682.60 on 9 February 2015.
The large-cap company has an equity capital of Rs 120 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
