NELCO standalone net profit rises 267.65% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 1.46% to Rs 21.52 crore

Net profit of NELCO rose 267.65% to Rs 2.50 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 0.68 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 1.46% to Rs 21.52 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 21.21 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 401.50% to Rs 6.67 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1.33 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 32.90% to Rs 89.39 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 133.21 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
