NHPC standalone net profit declines 31.39% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 17.56% to Rs 1337.59 crore

Net profit of NHPC declined 31.39% to Rs 168.42 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 245.48 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 17.56% to Rs 1337.59 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1622.46 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 15.05% to Rs 2795.59 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 2429.89 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 1.48% to Rs 7191.53 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 7299.93 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
