Turnover on NSE's F&O segment increases
The Nifty June 2018 futures traded at 10722.15, a premium of 11.70 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 10710.45 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 6.66 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 4.67 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 89.40 points or 0.83% to settle at 10,710.45.
ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries and State Bank of India were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. ICICI Bank June 2018 futures traded at 292.15, near spot closing price of 292.30. Reliance Industries June 2018 futures traded at 991.40, at a discount over spot closing price of 995.60. State Bank of India June 2018 futures traded at 273.35, at a premium over spot closing price of 272.50.
The June 2018 F&O contracts will expire on 28 June 2018.
