Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises
The Nifty June 2018 futures traded at 10,849, a discount of 7.70 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 10,856.70 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 6.93 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 6.13 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 13.85 points or 0.13% to settle at 10,856.70
SBI, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries and TCS were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
SBI June 2018 futures traded at 287.25, at a discount over spot closing price of 287.30. Sun Pharmaceutical Industries June 2018 futures traded at 547.60, at a premium from spot closing price of 546.10. TCS June 2018 futures traded at 1825, at a premium over spot closing price of 1824.
The June 2018 F&O contracts will expire on 28 June 2018.
