Turnover on NSE's F&O segment declines
The Nifty November 2017 futures traded at 10489, a premium of 36.50 points over Nifty's spot closing of 10452.50 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment fell to Rs 3.82 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 10.64 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 28.70 points or 0.28% to settle at 10,452.50.
Punjab National Bank, State Bank of India, Bharti Airtel, Arvind and Hindalco Industries were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Punjab National Bank November 2017 futures traded at 208.60, at a small discount compared with spot closing of 207.30. State Bank of India November 2017 futures traded at 326.20, at a small discount compared with spot closing of 326.
Bharti Airtel November 2017 futures traded at 542.90, at a small discount compared with spot closing of 539.80. Arvind November 2017 futures traded at 444.50, at a small discount compared with spot closing of 441. Hindalco Industries November 2017 futures traded at 270, at a small discount compared with spot closing of 269.
