Turnover rises
Nifty October 2014 futures were at 7760.05, a premium of 11.85 points over spot closing of 7748.20. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment increased to Rs 241292.78 crore from Rs 227360.22 crore on Tuesday, 14 October 2014.
State Bank of India October 2014 futures were at 2485, at a premium over spot closing of 2475.
Tata Steel October 2014 futures were at 438.70, near spot closing of 436.50.
Infosys October 2014 futures were at 3896, at a premium over spot closing of 3875.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty fell 115.80 points or 1.47% to settle at 7,748.20, its lowest closing level since 13 August 2014.
The October 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 30 October 2014.
