Turnover on NSE's F&O segment jumps
The Nifty September 2018 futures traded at 11,546.70, a premium of 9.80 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 11,536.90 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 21.87 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 13.57 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 59.95 points or 0.52% to settle at 11,536.90
Reliance Industries (RIL), Aurobindo Pharma and State Bank of India (SBI) were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
RIL September 2018 futures traded at 1,264.95, at a premium from spot closing price of 1261. Aurobindo Pharma September 2018 futures traded at 766, at a premium from spot closing price of 761.95. SBI September 2018 futures traded at 296.80, at a premium from spot closing price of 294.90.
