Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises
The Nifty September 2018 futures traded at 11,623.55, a premium of 41.20 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 11,582.35 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 6.07 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 5.55 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index lost 98.15 points or 0.84% to settle at 11,582.35
Reliance Industries (RIL), Bajaj Finance and Mindtree were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
RIL September 2018 futures traded at 1237.55, at a premium from spot closing price of 1228.10. Bajaj Finance September 2018 futures traded at 2736.25, at a premium from spot closing price of 2720.10. Mindtree September 2018 futures traded at 1115, at a premium from spot closing price of 1108.05.
The September 2018 F&O contracts will expire on 27 September 2018.
