Japanese share market closed higher on Monday, 27 October 2014, as appetite for risk assets encouraged on tracking dollar strength against the yen and positive finish of offshore markets on Friday. The Nikkei 225 index climbed 0.63%, or 97.08 points, to finish at 15388.72, while the Topix index of all first-section issues was up 0.96%, or 11.96 points, at 1254.28.
