Nitta Gelatin India standalone net profit rises 36.66% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 17.44% to Rs 88.64 crore

Net profit of Nitta Gelatin India rose 36.66% to Rs 5.48 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 4.01 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 17.44% to Rs 88.64 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 75.48 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 28.89% to Rs 14.57 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 20.49 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales declined 1.42% to Rs 324.47 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 329.15 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
