For two months ended May 2014
NMDC has made correction in the announcement of provisional production and despatches figures made earlier. The earlier data was referred to as that for May 2014 instead it is now corrected to that referring to two months ended May 2014.Accordingly, NMDC has announced provisional figures for production and despatches for the two month of ended May 2014 & prices for the month of June 2014.
Total production up to May 2014 stood at 4.94 million tonnes compared to 4.90 million tonnes in the corresponding period of 2013.
Total despatches stood at 5.65 million tonnes up to May 2014 compared to 5.08 million tonnes in in the corresponding period of 2013.
Price of Lump ore for month of June 2014 is Rs 4600/WMT;
Price of Fines for month of June 2014 is Rs 3160/WMT.
