NMDC standalone net profit declines 58.95% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 45.87% to Rs 1529.94 crore

Net profit of NMDC declined 58.95% to Rs 552.93 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1347.09 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 45.87% to Rs 1529.94 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 2826.54 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 52.84% to Rs 3028.33 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 6421.86 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 47.73% to Rs 6454.02 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 12347.67 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
